Recently Metapost is often preferred to Metafont, which need not be the general case. One can use both with its advantages in special cases and write source text readable by both great compilers! Some advice how to do it in such a way that practically no change in incorporating corresponding figures into document is necessary would be given. This includes typesetting labels via labtex (very useful invention, indeed) which can be done independently even if then graphics produced by Metapost instead Metafont should be used in document. Some examples of geometric diversions are given. |
