First, a typically Breton cuisine diner (Kig Ha Farz de la mer) in a big restaurant outside town (Le Moulin de Traon Lez). Then, at the same location, musical entertainment with two kinds of music:- Tom Chicago, a Rhythm'n Blues band, heavily inspired by the Blues Brothers;
- Kazimodal, a Breton folk music band with authentic instruments and modernistic tendances.
Notice that both bands are populated by members of the teaching stuff of the ENST Bretagne CS Department, and even of the Organizing Committee of EuroTeX 2003.Members of the "Locmaria-Plouzané Breton dance non-profit organisation" dressed in traditional Breton costumes will be there to teach us Breton dances, as in the famous Breton balls called "Fest Noz". | D'abord un diner typiquement breton (Kig ha farz de la mer) dans un grand restaurant dans la périphérie de Brest (Le Moulin de Traon Lez). Ensuite, place à la musique, ou plutôt aux musiques puisqu'il y aura deux groupes très différents :- Tom Chicago, un groupe Rhythm'n Blues, inspiré des fameux Blues Brothers
- Kazimodal, un groupe de musique bretonne [avec un véritable sonneur et sa collection de bombardes et autres instruments traditionnels] à tendances modernistes.
À noter que les deux groupes sont peuplés de membres du corps enseignant du département Informatique de l'ENST Bretagne, et même du comité d'organisation de la conférence.Les membres de l'Amicale de danses bretonnes de Locmaria-Plouzané seront là, en costume traditionnel, pour nous apprendre les pas desdites danses, comme cela se fait dans les véritables fest-noz breizh. |

| Have you ever taken a ride on a steam train? Well this is your chance to do it. We invite you for a ride on the La Vapeur du Trieux, a steam train whose 91-tons locomotive has been built in Germany in 1912, and is now classified as historical monument (after having been used in the movie "Borsalino and co", starring Alain Delon). Besides the locomotive and the train you will have the opportunity to see one of the most beautiful landscapes of Brittany in the area of Trieux, going from Paimpol to Pontrieux and back. The (preliminary) programme of the day will be: from Brest to Paimpol by bus, steam train from Paimpol to Pontrieux with a stop at the Traou Nez manor for to taste local products and hear some music, visit of Pontrieux and lunch in a traditional crêperie, then, once again the steam train to ride us back to Paimpol, and the bus to bring us back to Brest. Maybe other actions may be added to this programme, but this is the rough idea of the excursion. Join us! | Avez-vous jamais pris un train à vapeur ? Eh bien, c'est l'occasion. Nous vous invitons à prendre la Vapeur du Trieux, un train à vapeur dont la locomotive à 91 tonnes a été construite en Allemagne en 1912 et a été classée monument historique en 1987 (après avoir utilisée dans le tournage du film "Borsalino and co" avec, entre autres, Alain Delon). En même temps vous pourrez admirer quelques uns parmi les plus beaux paysages de Bretagne, dans la région du Trieux, en allant de Paimpol à Pontrieux et retour. Le programme (préliminaire) de la journée est comme suit : de Brest à Paimpol en car, train à vapeur de Paimpol à Pontrieux avec une halte au manoir de Traou Nez pour dégustation de produits locaux et de musique bretonne, ensuite visite de Pontrieux et déjeuner dans une crêperie traditionnelle, enfin retour à Paimpol en train à vapeur et retour à Brest en car. D'autres événements viendront peut-être s'ajouter à ce programme, mais voici quelle est déjà l'idée que nous nous faisons de cette excursion. Venez nombreux ! |
